Intact Insurance is recruiting for the role of Software Engineer. This role supports the development, testing, deployment and ongoing support of enterprise business applications using Microsoft Power Platform. It sits within a technology transformation toward a modern, cloud-based platform and involves collaboration on requirements, design and implementation.

What you’ll do

• Contribute to development, testing, deployment and ongoing support of enterprise business applications.
• Work with colleagues on requirements, solution design and implementation approaches.
• Support testing and deployment so solutions are reliable, scalable and deliver business value.
• Apply development standards and best practices to support quality, security and maintainability.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for development and support.

What they’re looking for

• Experience designing and building solutions using Microsoft Power Platform.
• Experience with Canvas Apps, Model Driven Apps, Power Automate, Power BI and Dataverse.
• Experience integrating Power Platform solutions with other systems and technologies such as Microsoft Dynamics and SharePoint.
• Capability in developing custom connectors, APIs, plugins, PCF components and RPA solutions.
• Practical knowledge of supporting enterprise scale applications across the full software development lifecycle.
• Experience working within Agile and DevOps ways of working.

Additional role information

• UiPath experience is desirable.
