Agile Coach (FTC)

TrustedHousesitters is recruiting for the role of Agile Coach (FTC). The Agile Coach will enable Product Engineering squads to work more effectively across the product development lifecycle, bringing consistency to how they plan, visualise progress and share work. The role also supports coaching, facilitation and experimentation across squads.

What you’ll do

• Coach squads to embed effective agile and product-centric practices, including dual-track ways of working.
• Guide teams as they mature delivery practices and adopt product-centred planning and prioritisation approaches.
• Coach teams on outcomes over output and whether shipped work has the desired customer and business impact.
• Facilitate team-level meetings such as refinement, retrospectives and planning when needed.
• Help drive the shift left quality approach and remove blockers through conversation.
• Offer insight on metrics that best measure team effectiveness and how they can improve over time.
• Own cross-squad sessions such as show and tells and team learnings, and iterate on them.
• Spot where AI can speed teams up and build it into everyday ways of working.

What they’re looking for

• Experience working as an Agile Coach with cross-functional, self-organising Agile teams.
• Experience working in fast-paced, customer-centric scale-ups.
• Experience working in a remote-first, high-performance company.
• Deep understanding of Agile and Lean thinking, values and principles.
• Hands-on experience with Scrum, Kanban, DevOps and XP, and combining these approaches effectively.
• Experience teaching Agile practices such as user story mapping, event storming, example mapping and slicing.
• Experience coaching teams on outcomes over output and continuous product discovery and delivery.
• Comfortable holding people accountable to agreed team practices.
