American Express is recruiting for the role of Campus – Internship Programme – Undergraduate – Product Manager – 2027 (UK – Burgess Hill). An Associate Digital Product Management Intern will support product and delivery work in Enterprise Technology Services, helping teams define requirements, analyse feedback, track delivery, and contribute to Agile activities. The internship is part of a 10-week Summer Internship Program and involves working with cross-functional teams on product, platform, and delivery initiatives.

What you’ll do

• Support Product Managers and delivery teams in defining, refining, and prioritising requirements, features, user stories, acceptance criteria, and support documentation.
• Assist with customer discovery, stakeholder interviews, user research, usability testing, and analysis of feedback to inform product decisions.
• Work with engineering, design, analytics, risk, security, operations, and business teams on product delivery and technology initiatives.
• Support Agile Release Train, backlog refinement, sprint planning, demos, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies with guidance.
• Monitor risks, dependencies, capacity considerations, and impediments, and escalate issues that need decisions or support.
• Facilitate or document technical discussions about architecture, system design, roadmap trade-offs, delivery readiness, and implementation planning.
• Create, consolidate, and analyse metrics to provide insights into delivery progress, execution quality, risks, and decisions needed.
• Support implementation roadmaps, cross-functional dependencies, and leadership updates on delivery status.

• You must be currently enrolled in a full-time Bachelor’s degree programme.
• An expected graduation date in 2028 is required.
• You should show interest in technology, product management, digital products, customer experience, Agile delivery, or technology programme delivery.
• You need strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• You need strong written and verbal communication skills.
• You must be able to collaborate effectively and build relationships with cross-functional partners.
• Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Miro, Figma, Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms is listed.
• You must have employment eligibility to work with American Express in the United Kingdom.
