Cyber Defence Transformation Analyst

Intact Insurance is recruiting for the role of Cyber Defence Transformation Analyst. The Cyber Defence Transformation Analyst will drive continuous improvement, optimisation and automation of cyber defence tooling, processes and practices. The role also focuses on scalable, data-driven security capabilities and keeping the function aligned to evolving threats and business priorities.

What you’ll do

• Define and deliver a roadmap for continuous improvement across cyber defence tooling and operational processes.
• Identify inefficiencies and implement automation to reduce manual effort and improve consistency and speed of response.
• Embed best practice frameworks and modern approaches, including exposure management, attack surface reduction and shift left principles.
• Establish metrics to track operational performance, efficiency gains and risk reduction outcomes.

What they’re looking for

• Have a strong understanding of cyber defence domains including vulnerability management, exposure management, SOC operations and threat intelligence.
• Have experience with security tooling such as vulnerability scanners, SIEM, EDR, identity security and attack surface management platforms.
• Have proven capability in automation using workflows, scripting or orchestration tools.
• Understand system integration patterns, APIs and data flows across security platforms.
• Be familiar with modern frameworks such as CTEM, NIST or similar cyber security standards.
• Understand secure architecture principles and secure by design approaches.
