Portfolio Cyber Security Technical Consultant

Intact Insurance is recruiting for the role of Portfolio Cyber Security Technical Consultant. This role provides hands-on security consultancy across a broad portfolio of change, technology and business initiatives. It focuses on embedding security across delivery and aligning it to internal policies, standards and regulatory expectations.

What you’ll do

• Provide security consultancy across project and programme portfolios.
• Assess solutions to ensure they are secure by design and aligned to security policies, standards and regulatory expectations.
• Identify, assess and help manage security risks and control gaps.
• Review and challenge technical designs, architectures, integrations and data flows from a security perspective.
• Support portfolio-level governance, assurance and reporting on security across change initiatives.

What they’re looking for

• Have a strong understanding of security architecture and secure design principles across business applications, infrastructure, networks and cloud-based services.
• Bring broad practical knowledge of application, infrastructure and cloud security concepts.
• Understand identity and access management, encryption, logging and monitoring, vulnerability management and data protection controls.
• Be able to embed security into change delivery frameworks such as Agile, Waterfall and hybrid delivery models across complex portfolios.
• Provide technical review, challenge and advice on solution architectures, data flows, integration patterns and supplier proposals from a security perspective.
