OBX

OBX is the creative technology hub for Hastings Commons, based on the mezzanine floor of the Observer Building in Hastings. It works with local communities and artists to run workshops, talks, exhibitions and arts projects, using creative technology to build stronger communities, support talent development and open up employment potential.

The programme also hosts regular activity including youth creative sessions, open tech drop-ins and community meetups, with a focus on making digital and creative technology more accessible locally. OBX supports artists and partner organisations through space, equipment, technical guidance and collaborative projects, while keeping young people and local community involvement at the centre of its work.
