Play / Record: interactive and digital art installation + artist in residence
PLAY/RECORD — an Open Studio Residency
Brighton-based digital artist Caroline Beavon takes over Mid Street Lab in Kemptown for four weeks, developing new scrollytelling and interactive web-based work in public.
This is digital meets analogue – hand-drawn sketches, interaction and installations.
The studio is open Wednesday to Sunday (9–11am and 3–6pm) — walk in, see the process, ask questions.
Three ticketed events run across the residency: PLAY (25 Jul), a drop-in for digitally nervous artists; RECORD (8 Aug), a public testing and feedback session; and RWD/FFWD (14 Aug), the closing show. All free but booking is advised.
