UXup spring: the curse of “MVP”

In this episode of UXup we’ll be taking a slightly humorous look at minimum viable products (MVPs) – what they should be and how they’re often misunderstood and misrepresented – all through the rather wonky eye of early humans, man-eating predators, buildings, fire and other existential threats.

Our speaker for UXup Spring is Kit Harding — senior content designer at HM Land Registry, director of AllJoinedUp Ltd, raconteur and, now, public speaker.
Through extended metaphor, Kit will explain what MVPs really are, what features of a core product are and how they work together.

We’ll kick-off at 6.30pm, with a chance to grab a drink or a bite to eat and have an informal chat with other local UX folk. We’re a friendly bunch so there will always be someone to talk to.

We’ve listened to your feedback and this time around we’re hosting just 1 talk instead of the usual 2, giving everyone more time to chat to other attendees throughout the evening.

We’ll then all roll up our sleeves and get stuck in with a quick activity to put into practise what we’ve heard before we descend on the bar for drinks and chat.
