Vibe Coding Workshop for Non-Developers: Build Your Own App
By Brighton Vibe Coding
Have you always had app ideas but never the coding skills to build one?
Then along comes magical AI. You ask ChatGPT to “build me a dog walker app” and instead of becoming a tech founder by lunch, you get something that looks like an app but it doesn’t work and you have no idea why.
That is because the current state of AI is this: it is genuinely very impressive at coding, but if you have no coding knowledge at all, it is also very easy to get completely lost.
Join for a one-day workshop where you will use AI tools to build a web app.
We will be using what is called a vibe coding approach to making apps.
What is vibe coding?
No, it is not coding using cosmic vibes.
Vibe coding is a way of building apps by having conversations with an AI agent, who writes the code. Developers have started using it to test ideas quickly, and get working prototypes off the ground.
How is this going to work?
Before the workshop, we will talk with you about your app idea and set a clear goal for the day.
Whether your app can be finished in one workshop really depends on your idea which can range from “a simple to-do app” to “Uber but for space travel”.
You will need a subscription to Chat GPT Plus (£20) to make sure you have AI usage that will last for the day and afterwards.
