This Week in Sussex Tech: 26 October

Hello everyone,

A fresh look for SussexDigital

SussexDigital has had a redesign. The aim is simple: make it easier to find what you came for, whether that’s a meetup, a job, a community to join or somewhere to work.

The martlet and Sussex blue and gold are still there, with clearer listings, stronger type and a layout that works better on a phone. There’s a dark mode too.

Have a look around. I’d love to hear what you think, especially if something isn’t working as it should.

One for the diary: FFConf

A reminder about Tech Talent Champions

If you’re thinking about bringing someone junior into your business, take a look at Tech Talent Champions.

Delivered by TechNative Digital and Sussex Innovation, the programme connects Sussex employers with people looking for their first professional role in AI, cyber and digital technology. Candidates demonstrate their skills through practical challenges, and employers get support with hiring and developing them. There are no recruitment fees.

There’s also a route for people looking for that first opportunity. If that sounds like you, or someone you know, it’s worth a look.
