Hello everyone,
The keen-eyed amongst you may have noticed that I didn’t send a newsletter last week. Everyone else, thank you for not mentioning it.
A useful lesson in not removing the old process before the new one is in place. Apparently, “I’ll have that sorted by Monday” isn’t quite the same as a working replacement. Anyway, we’re back.
We’re partnering with Tech Talent Champions
Some good news to start with: SussexDigital will be working in partnership with Tech Talent Champions.
Delivered by TechNative Digital and Sussex Innovation, the programme connects people looking for their first professional tech role with Sussex employers who want to bring junior talent into their businesses.
Candidates demonstrate their skills through practical challenges, and employers get support with hiring and developing them. There are no recruitment fees.
If you’re thinking about taking on someone junior, or you’re trying to get that first opportunity yourself, take a look.
